Peter Sidorkiewicz’s circa 1983-84 Oshawa Generals white mesh game-worn jersey is featured in this lot of memorabilia from his major junior days that includes two game-used sticks. Also included are his vintage Generals practice jersey, his 1983-84 most valuable teammate trophy, 1983 Memorial Cup wristwatch, sterling silver commemorative coin from the city of Oshawa and a 1983-84 Generals program honoring the 1965-66 team signed by Bobby Orr and Wayne Cashman, among other items. Harv-Al and size XXL flag tags sit in the back of the neck and there is plenty of game wear on display. Comes with Peter Sidorkiewicz’s signed LOA.
Plenty of black marks on the front of Sid’s Generals game-worn jersey, which features “Oshawa” in red script twill sewn on the front, with a blue twill tail below it with “Generals” embroidered in the middle of it in white thread. More game wear includes black marks on the sleeves, a bit of red paint transfer in the middle of the back below the sewn-on No. 1 in blue and red double twill, and a burn mark with red paint transfer on the front tail;
Included are two of Sidorkiewicz’s 1982-83 Koho game-used sticks. Both sticks have Peter’s surname stamp misspelled “Sidorkiewich” on the shaft. One was used in the Robertson Cup final and the other was used in the Memorial Cup in Portland. Each stick has a pencil date notation on the shaft along with a game result. The Robertson Cup stick has an “April 1983 Oshawa 5 – Soo 2” pencil notation. The Memorial Cup team-signed stick has “May 14, 1983 Portland 8 – Oshawa 3” written in pencil on the handle. There are six black marker autographs on the paddle, including John MacLean, and eight more blue ballpoint autographs on the shaft. Both sticks have their original tape jobs on the knob and blade;
Well-worn knit Generals practice jersey has a well-worn screened No. 3 on the back;
“Presented by City of Oshawa” presentation medal measures 1 1/2" in diameter with “Presented to Peter Sidorkiewicz Oshawa Generals Memorial Cup Finalists 1983” on the other side along with a “Sterling” stamp;
Caravelle wristwatch has 1983 Memorial Cup Portland logo on the face;
Bobby Orr and Wayne Cashman have signed a Oshawa Generals Oct. 8, 1983 program for “65-66 Generals 83-84”. Orr has signed in black ink at the bottom of the middle column of the 1965-66 Generals roster on the left side of the lineup centerfold. Cashman has signed in blue ballpoint along with Ian Young and Bill Heindl;
Peter’s 1983-84 Generals Most Valuable Teammate trophy stands a shade over 10” tall;
A vintage 14” x 11” action pose studio photo of Sidorkiewicz in his Generals uniform;
“A History of the Oshawa Generals” book;
A stack of Oshawa Generals P.L.A.Y. (Police, Laws and Youth) cards includes 22 of different Generals players from Sidorkiewicz’s era, and 94 Sidorkiewicz cards with 44 multiples of one pose, 49 of a second, and one card with a third pose;
