Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Drafted 5th overall by Pittsburgh in 1990, Jaromir Jagr has proven to be one of hockey’s all-time greats, with numerous accomplishments including being the youngest player in NHL history to score a goal in the Stanley Cup Finals. This Koho Core Beam stick was game-used by Jagr while with Pittsburgh in the mid-to-late-1990s. With the original black tape on both the blade and shaft, “Jagr” in factory graphics sits on the upper shaft area. There’s just light use to note, from wear around the heel of the blade, and the code “841-7” has been handwritten just below where the Canadien blade is inserted into the shaft. Jaromir has placed a nice thin black marker signature to the yellow section of the Koho logo half way up the shaft, and there is some staining/discolouration at the very end of the blade most likely from storage, mentioned just for the sake of accuracy.
