This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Six sticks game-used by players who have all suited up for the New York Islanders are available in this lot, including examples used by King, Lafontaine, Palffy, Kasparaitis, Hamrlik and Michael Peca. Also included is a rare Titan Turbo model stick that was issued to Clark Gilles, and it remains unused and in high grade.
1 – Bauer 3003 model stick game-used by Michael Peca. With the original tape job on the shaft and blade, “M Peca” is stamped beneath the knob and the stick shows great game-use. Michael has also added a nice silver sharpie signature to the frontside heel.
2 – Sher-Wood PMP 7000 model stick game-used by Pat Lafontaine. With the original tape on the shaft and blade, “Lafontaine” is stamped on the upper shaft. With just light game-use to note (the tape is coming loose on the tip of the blade), Pat has placed a small black signature on the lower section of the stick.
3 – Vic APT model stick game-used by Zigmund Palffy. With the original tape job on both the blade and knob, “Pallfy” is stamped on the upper shaft. With just light game-use notable with wear to the shaft, the stick’s striping sticker has been removed or lost.
4 – KOHO 2295 model stick game-used by Darius Kasparaitis. Original tape on the blade as well as gauze-style tape on the upper shaft and knob with handwritten “11”, “Kasparaitis” is stamped but faded midway up, and the stick just shows light game-use.
5 – Sher-Wood PMP 7030 model stick game-used by Roman Hamrlik. With the original ribbed-style tape job on the upper shaft, the black tape on the blade has started to separate from the bottom. Stamped “Hamrlik” and “44” on the upper shaft, just light game-use is notable with some associated wear to the shaft.
6 – Victoriaville 9050 model stick game-used by Derek King. With the original tape on the knob, the blade has broken off but is still attached by way of its original stick tape. Stamped “D King”, the upper shaft has been thinned by way of sanding, and the stick shows game-use through associated shaft wear.
