Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
From two of Beantown’s stars during the 1990’s, we have a pair of signed and game-used sticks from Ray Bourque and Adam Oates. We’ll start with a Sher-Wood P.M.P.X. 9950 model stick that was game-used by Ray Bourque. With the original tape on the blade and shaft, “Bourque” and “77” is on the upper shaft in factory graphics. With just very light use to note, Ray has placed a very thin silver sharpie signature across the blade, and it’s difficult to make out. The second stick available is a Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 model that was game-used by Adam Oates while he was with Washington. With the original tape on the blade and shaft/knob, “77” and “2” have been handwritten on the taped portion of the upper shaft. “Adam Oates” is also on the upper shaft in factory graphics, and “Washington” has been stamped onto the lower shaft, but it’s partially covered by the striping sticker. Adam has added a nice black marker signature just above the heel of the blade.
