Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Three game-used sticks up for grabs here from three desirable players used while playing for the dominant Chicago Black Hawks in the early to mid-1990s. First off we have a Sher-Wood P.M.P.X. 9950 Iron Carbon model stick that was game-used by Chris Chelios. With the original tape on the knob and blade, “Chris Chelios” and “7” appear on both the upper shaft and the underside in factory graphics. With no damage to note, Chelios has signed the blade across the tape in gold sharpie. Next up we have a Koho Revolution model game-used by Tony Amonte. With the original tape on the knob, the upper shaft is stamped “Amonte”, with the “e” covered by the taped shaft. The tape on the blade has been removed so that Tony could place a large black marker signature across it. Lastly, we have a Hespeler 8800 graphite model stick that was game-used by Bob Probert. With “Probert” and “80 15” on the upper shaft, both the blade and upper shaft/knob have the original tape jobs, and the stick just shows light use, with some wear to the bottom of the blade. Probert has added a perfect silver sharpie signature to the heel of the blade on the frontside of the stick.
