Prominent Canadian athletes were featured on little cards issued with Dominion Chocolate chocolate bars in the mid-1920s, with almost two-thirds of the firm's 1926 issue offered here in encapsulated form. These cards are without their original "coupons" at the bottom, designed to be cut-off and exchanged for prizes. Eight different of the set's 11 hockey cards are present and picture players in their Toronto "Millionaires" uniforms. Best at SGC 60 EX 5 is goalie 29-Bud Fisher, followed by four at 50 VG/EX 4; 23-Doug Young, 26-George Clark, 27-Steve Rice and 28-Ken Doraty. Also, 18-Ernie Williams (40 VG 3), 24-Al Gauthier (20 Fair 1.5) and 17-Gerald Green (10 Poor 1), with a duplicate Williams slabbed "A AUTH". Slabbed 30 Good 2 are #s 15, 19, 21, 30, 31, 32, 33, 37, 41, 43, 48 and 50. It's then a group of 11 at 20 Fair 1.5; #s 34-Percy Williams, 36, 44, 45, 47, 51, 52, 54, 56, 57 and 60, while completing are a trio of 10 Poor 1s; 13, 35 and 53.
