Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015

One of only 6 players to have their number retired by the Blues, it’s not largely remembered that when Hull played for Phoenix, they allowed Brett (at Bobby’s request) to wear his father’s number 9, which had been previously retired by the Winnipeg Jets. This pair of Hull items begins with a practice-worn St. Louis Blues CCM jersey from the 1990s, and it is in excellent condition with no damage to note. Accompanying the jersey is a pair of game-worn Easton gloves in Blues’ colours circa early-1990s, with Hull having placed a bold blue sharpie signature to the yellow padded section above the thumb on the left glove.
The practice worn Blues jersey has its Maska and size 54 tagging in the collar, with large added CCM crest below the team crest, and “16” on back. A Velcro plate has been added to the upper back for instant nameplate changes. Good use is visible with a number of black streaks to both sleeves, as well as a few tiny board burns. Comes with an LOA.
The game-worn Easton GX1350 model gloves are in very good condition with good wear noticeable, including a few marks to the surface, as well as wear to the palms. “Seize”, which is French for sixteen, has been handwritten into the interior of each glove.
