Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
One of only five players in NHL history to score 50 goals in 50 games, the name Brett Hull definitely needs to be brought up when discussing the best modern NHL players. This interesting pair includes a game-used Easton Synergy stick, and game-worn Mission hockey gloves, both employed by Brett during his tenure with the Detroit Red Wings in the early-2000s. With just light use to the stick, the gloves are in excellent condition, except for an inner attachment that has most likely been removed for comfort.
The game-used Easton Synergy model stick, circa 2001-02, is stamped “16” and “Hull” on the upper shaft, with the black tape remaining on the blade, as well as the red gauze-style tape to the upper shaft/knob area, with the stick showing just light use. A Hockeytown Authentics hologram number #28505 has been affixed just above the heel of the blade. The game-worn Mission M-1 model gloves, circa 2003-04 are in beautiful condition, with no damage and just light signs of wear, including a few black stick marks, mostly on the left glove. “J.J.C.” has been chain-stitched onto each glove at the top of the wrist cuffs, as well as an added handwritten “2”. A Hockeytown Authentics original team store price tag is still affixed to the left glove.
