Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
An elite group, the 500 goals plateau is an amazing accomplishment. Currently, only 42 players have reached the summit, with Wayne Gretzky getting there the fastest, needing only 575 games. This group of 7 sticks have all been signed by members of this prestigious club, with an added bonus of Brett Hull’s signed stick being game-used. Signed sticks in this exciting lot include examples by Gretzky, Richard, Howe, Mikita, Jagr and Bobby Hull. An impressive offering overall.
The breakdown for the following 7 signed 500 goal members sticks are as follows;
1 – Nike Fibertac model stick game-used by Brett Hull. With the original tape on the shaft and blade, there’s just light use to note. Stamped “Hull 300” on the underside, Brett has signed across the taped blade in gold sharpie.
2 – Koho Revolution model stick signed by Jaromir Jagr. This Jagr model stick is in excellent condition, and Jagr has placed a big silver sharpie signature on the frontside of the blade.
3 – Sher-Wood stick signed by Maurice Richard. In excellent condition, The Rocket has signed across the bare blade in blue sharpie, and he’s added a HOF notation.
4 – Sher-Wood stick signed by Bobby Hull. In excellent condition, Bobby has placed a nice and big black marker signature across the blade, and he’s added “The Golden Jet”.
5 – Northland Pro 4040 model stick signed by Gordie Howe. In excellent condition, Gordie has placed a big flowing signature across the frontside of the blade.
6 – Easton Aluminum Gretzky model stick signed by Wayne Gretzky. In gorgeous near mint condition, with "Gretzky" stamped on the blade, Wayne has added a black marker signature across the blade.
