Awesome early-1970s Blues game-worn jersey is attributed to forward Jim Lorentz, who wore No. 19 in 1970-71 and early the following season with St. Louis before he was traded to the Rangers on Nov. 15. Customized gamer with shortened sleeves and hemmed up at the waist has a small loop-style fight strap. Rawlings size 48, Gielser-Jorgen and laundry instruction tagging remain in the hem. This Blues game-worn jersey, with board burns, marks and paint transfer, is most likely from the set that was sent down for use by a Providence-area high school sometime after the 1971 season. A great opportunity to own a rare early Blues gamer.
There are red paint transfer marks on the bottom of the well-worn yellow twill of the triple twill No. 19 sewn on the back. A reddish-brown stain sits on the right rear hem, which has a tear on the bottom edge. Various marks on the front tail including a bit of red and blue paint transfer. Board burns on both shoulders and a burn with red paint transfer low on the right sleeve.
