The B.C. Lions ruled Canadian football in 2006 with a 13-5 record in the CFL on their way to a 25-14 win over the Montreal Alouettes in the 94th Grey Cup game in Winnipeg. Lions quarterback Dave Dickenson took MVP honors as B.C. rode a 19-3 halftime lead to victory for the franchise’s fifth Grey Cup title. This gorgeous 10-karat gold bauble presented to, and acquired directly from, a member of the Lions’ front office has an approximate weight of 30 grams and real diamonds set all over the team logo on the tableau. “Grey Cup” and “Champions” are spelled out on the upper and lower bezel, with “2006” across the top of the right shank which also displays the result of the game and the CFL logo surrounding a cityscape background. The left shank displays “Savard” above a Lions helmet with five maple leafs at the bottom and “XV” on the right side. "Intergold" and "10K" are stamped inside the size 6 band of this beauty that is well preserved with light surface scratches and a few small nicks to the back of the band.
