With amazing baseball history spanning well over a century, the city of Chicago has two of the most storied franchises with the Cubs and White Sox. This lot includes examples of both signed, as well as game-used garments. Included are signed White Sox Tyler Flowers and Alexei Ramirez jerseys, as well as a game-worn 2014 Nathan Schierholtz Cubs jersey and Cubs throwback 1929 game-worn pants. All four garments are part of the MLB Authentication program with holograms attached. Please see the Classic Auctions website for a full breakdown of items included.
The breakdown for the following 4 items are as follows;
1 – 1929 Throwback game-worn pants #12. These were worn on May 4 2014 in a game against St. Louis. With Majestic tagging in place, “12 35-45 24 OB 1929” appears on the inner band, with MLB hologram number HZ182056. Light wear with some dirt staining.
2 - Nathan Schierholtz Chicago Cubs game-worn jersey. This jersey was worn on April 4 2014, in a game vs Philadelphia. With Majestic tagging on the lower front, “19 48 ’14 S2” appears in the collar. An MLB hologram numbered EK823677 has been affixed to the back number “1”. In excellent condition with some staining around the left shoulder.
3 - Alexei Ramirez Chicago White Sox signed jersey. With Majestic tagging on the lower front and added “12 44 S1”, Ramirez has signed the back number “1” in silver sharpie. An MLB hologram numbered EK604428 has also been affixed to the “1”, just above the signature.
4 - Tyler Flowers Chicago White Sox signed jersey. With Majestic tagging on the lower front and added “12 50 S1”, Flowers has signed the back number “7” in silver sharpie. An MLB hologram numbered EK600750 has also been affixed to the “7”, just beneath the signature.
