Playing for a number of MLB clubs throughout his career, including Cleveland, Toronto, Arizona, Boston and LA, John McDonald finished with an impressive .974 fielding percentage in over 6,450 innings. These two jerseys were both game-worn by John, including this 1970s “throwback” style Angels model. With V-neck collar, and tackle twill letters, a California state patch also adorns the upper left sleeve. This garment was worn on August 29th 2014. The Angels “Jackie Robinson Day” example, an event where every player wore 42 in honor of Robinson, features heavy tackle twill letters and numbers, as well as a “1961 Angels baseball” crest on the left sleeve. This garment was worn on April 15 2014. Also included with this lot is a pair of McDonald’s game-issued pants.

“Jackie Robinson Day” Angels jersey – Worn on April 15 2014, excellent condition, with a small stain on back, and Size 46 Authentic patch on lower front. MLB hologram/database authentication number EK821365.
1970’s “Throwback style” Angels jersey – Worn on August 29 2014, excellent with no condition issues, and size 46 Authentic patch on lower front. MLB hologram/database authentication number HZ487118.
Team-issued Angels pants – Excellent condition, with some light staining on back. MLB hologram/database authentication number HZ487150.
