Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
After the single-season Ottawa Nationals relocated to Toronto for the WHA’s second season, the Toros were born. This gorgeous durene Toronto Toros jersey was game-worn by Steve King during the club’s inaugural WHA season in 1973-74. With Maska Tricot Sport tagging in collar and evidence of a 7 ½” former nameplate, this beautiful red white and blue garment has dual-colour tackle twill numbers with matching 3-dimensional Toros logos on each sleeve. In excellent condition with no obtrusive damage other than a few marks over the back numbers and some puckering to the team crest, there are also 2 team repairs present on both the lower front band and hem.
