Pennants have always been a way to show support for your local team. This great assortment of pennants span over 2 decades, from the 1950s to the 1970s. Included are 1950’s examples from the Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, St. Louis Cards and Chicago Cubs. Later examples include 1974 and ’75 team photo pennants for the Tigers and Pirates respectively, a signed Hank Aaron Home Run King pennant from 1974, and lastly a 1954 Orange Bowl example. The Aaron pennant has been signed in blue ball point, and it is in good condition with a few creases and folds. Size and condition breakdown for the 7 pennants in this lot are as follows;
1974 Hank Aaron – Good condition with a few creases and folds. 30”
1950’s White Sox – Very good condition with a few tiny stains. 28”
1950’s Athletics – Very good condition with some wear to the tip. 28”
1950’s Cards – Very good condition with some staining to the letters. 28”
1950’s Cubs – Good condition with some fading, and missing the tip. 28”
1974 Tigers photo pennant - Very good condition with some creasing near the tip. 30”
1975 Pirates photo pennant – Good condition with some staining and slight edge loss, near the “s” in “Pirates”. 30”
1954 Orange Bowl – very good condition with some staining, and missing the tip. 28”
