Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Affiliates to a number of NHL clubs during their 20 year existence including Minnesota, LA, and both New York teams, New Haven produced some noteworthy players including Bob Nystrom and Bernie Nichols. This circa late-1980's AHL Nighthawks jersey game-worn by Gordie Walker is a beaut. The CCM Maska tag remains in the collar, with CCM patch with asterisk affixed to the outer lower hem. Good game use is apparent in the form of small streaks and scratches to the fabric, mostly on the sleeves. A tiny pair of rips are also present on the bottom right side, and the right cuff has had the stitching come loose. Some small blue marks are also present on the white section of the jersey below the back of the neck. These are mentioned for accuracy and in no way diminish this jerseys display appeal. There is also evidence of a former nameplate once being attached.
