Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Neil Armstrong (1930-2012) typed signed letter with very rare content discussing autograph seekers: “celebrity events have become overrun with autograph dealers and their paid gangs of Oliver Twists”. Neil gradually became disenchanted with autograph seekers and eventually implemented a policy of signing, through the mail, just one autograph per person ever. And in 1994, he stopped signing through the mail altogether. For years he even refused to sign autographs when asked in-person. While he was alive, that made his the most valuable autograph on the planet. Comes with a PSA/DNA LOA.
