Defenceman Tom Gilbert's photo-matched Montreal Canadiens game-worn jersey features the Beliveau memorial patch on the breast. Tagged in the collar as a size 58 with a nearby handwritten "1" for set 1, the gamer has the Montreal Canadiens team patch in the lower inner hem. A good number of game wear marks can be found on the sleeves and front of the jersey which is photo-matched to the loose thread above the Beliveau memorial patch and to the two black marks near the 77 on the right sleeve on a December 6th photo. The jersey is also photo-matched to the loose thread on top of right breast on the following Getty images; Oct. 8th 2014 (456872086), Oct. 13th 2014 (458114972), Oct. 27th 2014 (458113286) and Nov. 22nd 2014 (459430700). Comes with a Montreal Canadiens LOA and a Classic Auctions LOA.
The Montreal Canadiens first wore the Beliveau Memorial patch in their December 5th 2014 game vs Chicago. On these set “1” jerseys, the Beliveau Memorial patch was worn in their December 5th and 6th games vs Chicago and Dallas, the first two games the Canadiens wore the patch honoring the late Jean Beliveau. The set “1” jerseys were worn starting on October 8th and up to and including December 6th. They were also worn in a few preseason games.
