Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015

This offered 2014-15 Brandon Prust game-worn and photo-matched jersey with the Beliveau memorial patch is definitely "hero" worthy. Proper tagging in the collar is in place, with added handwritten "1" for set 1, and team patch affixed to the lower hem. A fight strap has also been added to the front of the jersey. Good visible wear on this garment, including a partially ripped NHL crest on the collar, and possible blood stains on the left sleeve! A number of black marks to the crest and both elbows have been positively photo-matched to numerous Getty images. This one's a keeper!
A valuable component to Montreal as evidenced by his Jacques-Beauchamp award received at the end of the 2012-13 season, this award is given by the Montreal media to the Canadiens player they feel has reached "unsung hero" status.
Details of wear with the associated photo-matches are as follows;
Nov. 16th Getty image 459092814 is photo-matched to the black mark on the right elbow.
Dec. 3rd Getty image 460252490 is photo-matched to two black marks on the left elbow.
Dec. 5th photo is photo-matched to the diagonal black mark at the left of the team crest, and to the small black mark below the Beliveau memorial patch.
Dec. 6th Getty image 460242038 is photo-matched to the black mark on the lower portion of the team crest.
The Montreal Canadiens first wore the Beliveau Memorial patch in their December 5th 2014 game vs Chicago. On these set “1” jerseys, the Beliveau Memorial patch was worn in their December 5th and 6th games vs Chicago and Dallas, the first two games the Canadiens wore the patch honoring the late Jean Beliveau. The set “1” jerseys were worn starting on October 8th and up to and including December 6th. They were also worn in a few preseason games.
