Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Playmaking center Jason Spezza was one of the NHL’s final holdouts to resist composite sticks in favor of the good old wooden wonders such as this Sher-Wood gamer from his 2002-03 Ottawa Senators rookie season. "Spezza" is stamped on the front of the shaft of his Sher-Wood SOP 9970 game-used stick which features his distinctive custom-shaved handle. Spezza’s white tape jobs remain intact on the knob and blade, which Jason signed on the heel with the No. 39 he wore at the outset of his NHL career. Nice game use on this solid and crack-free beauty with good game wear to the tape on the blade.
