Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Rare old late Sixties to early Seventies-era full-size player’s equipment bag with the sewn-on number 23, most likely used by fan-favorite entertainer Eddie Shack who donned the number for most of the period. This heavy denim canvas bag sports loads of wear with numerous very tiny holes, a larger two-inch rip and one large repair patch. TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS HOCKEY CLUB is screened across the top and the Doug Laurie, Maple Leaf Gardens supplier tag is sewn on. The zipper is fully-functioning and the handles are solid. Would make for a great display or fill it with your gear and lug it off to the rink!
