Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Three important Jeff Torborg items from the defunct Montreal Expos are available here, including his spring-training worn jersey and pants, and a 2001 Montreal Expos team-signed Rawlings ball. All of the offered items come with 3 copies of LOA's, plus the added bonus of once residing in Torborg's own collection. When it comes to supply and demand, items from defunct Major League Baseball teams are highly desirable.
Three such keepsakes are up for your consideration here including Jeff Torborg's 2001 Montreal Expos spring-training worn XL Majestic jersey, and his size 38 Russell Athletic spring-training worn white pants with blue pinstripes. Both items are in excellent condition, showing very light use, with the pants being recycled from 1998. Number 43 was written with black marker in the pants, later crossed out, with Torborg's correct number 24 added. The third Expos item that comes with this lot is a 2001 Montreal Expos team-signed Rawlings ball, with approx. 30 nice blue ball-point autographs, and the proper MLB authentication hologram affixed. Three LOA's come with this lot stating the previous provenance of being items that were formerly part of Jeff Torborg's personal collection.
