Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Brian Glennie was able to do what many kids dream about, and that was not only to play for his hometown Maple Leafs, but to lead another local team when he captained the Toronto Marlboros of the OHA to the 1967 Memorial Cup, defeating the Port Arthur Marrs for the championship. Exciting group of Toronto Maple Leafs documents in this lot with some very notable league signatures including Punch Imlach, Clarence Campbell, Bob Davidson and Alan Eagleson, as well as numerous Glennie examples. An interesting document included states that since Glennie has signed a two-year contract, he cannot be traded during the first year, and if he's traded during the second, the General Manager will personally speak with him, insuring that the trade is in Brian's best interest. Just regular handling wear on these documents, with well executed signatures. A complete breakdown of this lot is as follows;
