This magnificent 10K gold creation commemorates Edmonton's third straight Grey Cup title. The Eskimos won 15 of 18 games in 1980, including a 48-10 dismantling of Hamilton in the November 23rd title game in front of a crowd of 54,661 at Toronto's Exhibition Stadium. Warren Moon passed for 398 yards and four touchdowns in the most lopsided Grey Cup win in 57 years. An absolutely stunning Grey Cup ring, this beauty displays three zirconias set in a gold Eskimos logo in the middle of a green stone on the tableau with "Edmonton Eskimos Grey Cup Champions" on the bezel. The right shank displays a Grey Cup with "'80" engraved on the bowl and "CFL" on the base, with "DW 21" at the bottom in memory of Don Warrington who died in a car accident shortly after the Eskimos' Grey Cup win. The left shank has "Stephanson" above an Eskimos helmet with "69" at the bottom, all engraved. The ring has an approximate weighs of 45 grams and "Jostens 10K" is stamped inside the size 11 1/2 band. The ring was well preserved with light scratches and scuffs from proud wear, with some noticeable on the Eskimos' logo and stone on the tableau. This team ring was most likely given to a player on the practice roster, back in the early-1980’s, management ensure that even practice roster players got a ring when winning championships.
