This collection of two wood carving plaques includes one presented to Jean Beliveau in 1988 for his involvement in a hockey tournament. The wood carving was made by renowned wood carver Caron from St-Jean Port-Joli and is signed as such. The second one depicts Beliveau in an action pose, is engraved "1953-1971" on the top edge and is signed by the artist "E. Laplante" on the bottom right corner. These wood carving plaques remain in excellent condition and will be accompanied by Jean Beliveau's signed LOA. Please note that this lot has been generously donated by the consignor and all proceeds from the sale of this lot will go to the “Miriam Foundation” Gold Center which helps 2 to 6 years old diagnosed with high level autism.
