Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Chris Pronger has not been active since 2011 due to post-concussion syndrome, believed caused by three separate hits. While many might step away from the game, the talented Olympic medal winner has made the positive transition of signing with the NHL's Player Safety Division. This St. Louis vintage-style jersey was worn by Pronger in a 1-0 victory over the LA Kings in November of 2003. The size 58 CCM jersey shows very light wear, with just a few small errant puck marks. All of the tagging is present, including a neat NHL V for vintage patch over the right breast. This style jersey was worn by the Blues in 1979-80. A full LOA from MeiGray accompanies, with this garment being officially entered in the National Hockey League-MeiGray Group Game-Worn Jersey Authentication Program as evidenced by the MeiGray Group tag in the inner lower hem.
