From the historic 1972 Canada-Russia Series are these great items from Bergman’s personal collection. The collection is highlighted by Bergman's Team Canada CCM game-used gloves which are photo-matched to the long black mark on the cuff of the left glove. Also included is the cool official Team Canada equipment bag in which Bergman carried his gear all the way to Russia which has his number "2" on one side and the "Team Canada Equipe" logo on the other. Rounding out this collection are Bergman's home and away Team Canada game-used socks. Comes with an LOA from the Bergman family.
Both of Bergman’s Team Canada 1972 CCM game-worn gloves have their laces in place and display plenty of solid game use that includes black marks, red and blue paint transfer, scuffs and wear to the palms. The leather palm of Bergman’s left glove has a hole worn through at the base of the index finger with another smaller hole to its right. The right glove has a hole worn through the palm below the ring finger where the leather is not doubly reinforced. Bergman’s red Team Canada 1972 CCM thick canvas equipment bag has the CCM logo patch below the Gary’s No. “2” sewn on one side between the straps, and the “Team Canada Equipe” patch is sewn on the opposite side of the sturdy zippered bag. Bergman’s two pairs of white and red Team Canada 1972 game-worn hockey socks have their original stirrups on the bottom. One of the white socks has a small hole above the knee and all of the socks have a variety of stains and marks . These historic gloves, socks and bag had water damage/moisture but were cleaned up.
