Sid the Kid stole the show during the 2008 Winter Classic in Buffalo, notching an assist and then scoring the winning goal in the shootout to lead the Pens to a 2-1 win. Sidney Crosby has signed his 8x10 goal celebration photo featured in this awesome framed display celebrating the NHL’s first American outdoor game as well as the Penguins throwback jersey that is similar in style to the ones Sid and Pittsburgh wore at the inaugural Winter Classic. Both signed pieces come with their respective Frameworth COAs.
Crosby has signed in bold black marker on the top of his 8x10 photo featured in the 24 3/4" x 32" black frame that also displays an NHL Winter Classic plaque with the 2008 logo and date of the game, the 2008 Winter Classic program cover, a game ticket, Sabres and Penguins pins and an etched image of Ralph Wilson Stadium where the New Year’s Day game was played. The frame has no hangers on the back and the lower back part shows some staining.
Crosby’s captain’s C is sewn on the left breast, and tags remain attached to the left sleeve of the jersey, which has Reebok NHL tagging and a size L flag tag in the back of the neck.
