Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Far less often seen than O-Pee-Chee hockey cards from the same season are these posters, which came attached, two to a pack and which measure just under 10” by just under 18”. There is some duplication here, with posters of Orr, Keon and Dryden required to complete a set of 24. Majority of posters have light to moderate stains, with however some stain-free and falling into our “nice collectible condition” category. They are Gilbert (2), Ullman (2), Kurtenbach, Perreault, Ratelle, Unger and Worsley (2). There are duplicates of Pulford, Tallon, Ullman (4 total), Kurtenbach (3 total), Unger (3 total) and an extra Worsley. We spot a split or two in the Cournoyer and Plante examples. There are also two pairs still attached but exhibiting the aforementioned stains; Tony Esposito/Kurtenbach and Cournoyer/Gilbert. A near set with some traders for a collector or a decent dealer lot, these offer several possibilities.
