A varied array of pre-war collectibles here are led chronologically by a 1910-11 Imperial Tobacco C55 card depicting Renfrew’s Larry Gilmour and which is housed in an early PSA holder labeled “VG 3”. Also slabbed years ago by PSA is Ken Doraty’s 1933-34 O-Pee-Chee card #4 which earned EX 5 status, while four Paulin’s cards from the comapnay’s first issue in the 1920s picture men who skated in western Canada. Best at G-VG is 67-Cully Wilson, with 49-Spunk Sparrow and 68-Charlie Reid at F and 29-Amby Moran heavily creased and Poor. Completing are four Diamond Match matchbook covers from the 1930s; two identical of Hall-of-Famer Red Dutton are intact while missing their strikers are covers of goalie Mike Karakas and fellow Black Hawk Andy Blair.
