Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Originating from the short-lived three-season Northeastern Hockey League - renamed the Eastern Hockey League for the second season in 1979-80, we have a Utica Mohawks jersey that saw action during the club’s only two seasons of existence, in 1978-79 and 1979-80. A Russell Athletics label with “L” sizing is affixed to the collar, with the vintage mesh jersey measuring-out to roughly a size 50. Featuring a rubberized team crest with “Mohawks” arching above, “14” appears over the sleeves and verso in matching material. Heavy use is exhibited on the garment, with wear and cracking to some of the identifiers, with dark marks over the front and sleeves. There are also team repairs over the reverse and right sleeve. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
