Czech all-star Milan Hejduk had a Stanley Cup and a Maurice Richard Trophy 50-goal season in his future when he wore this photo-matched 1998-99 Colorado Avalanche gamer during his rookie season. Hejduk had 14 goals and 34 assists for 48 points and finished third in Calder Trophy voting behind teammate Chris Drury and Ottawa’s Marian Hossa for the NHL’s rookie of the year. A December 11, 1998 Getty Images photo of Hejduk wearing this gamer shows the black mark across the top of the “2” on the right sleeve. A second photo shows the black marks on the 2 on the right sleeve, with the lower mark mostly faded but still showing, as well as the black mark at the top of the Avs crest on the front. Comes with an LOA.
Starter NHL Center Ice and size 56R-8-21 tagging is sewn in the back of the neck. Solid game wear shows in board burns on the sleeves, a team repair on the left elbow, and black marks on the team crest and sleeve numbers.
The marks on the #2's are also photo-matched to a 1999-2000 Stadium Club hockey card with the black mark on top of the team crest showing as well.
