Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Three-time Norris Trophy winner Chris Chelios’ 1999-2000 Red Wings game-worn jersey displays solid team repairs on the sleeves in addition to the NHL 2000 patch sewn on the right breast. The Red Wings 1999-2000 Authentic Game Jersey 1st Set team patch is screened in red inside the rear tail. There are two big team repairs on the left sleeve and another pair of sewing fixes on the right sleeve. Both sleeves displays black marks, board burns and unrepaired burn holes, with more black marks on the front. The diagonal black mark on the bottom of the 4 on the right sleeve seems to show up on a 2000-01 hockey card, but the image’s resolution is not high enough to deem it a definitive photo-match. Comes with a Red Wings LOA.
Chelly, who was inducted into the HOF in 2013, posted a career-high plus-48 during his first full season in Hockeytown.
CCM and size 52 flag tags sit in the back of the neck along with a “2” screened in white. CCM and NHL logos are embroidered on the right rear tail.
