Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Last seeing hockey action in the Czech Extraliga with HC Ceské Budejovice (Mountfield HK), netminder Roman Turek spent parts of nine seasons in the NHL, shared amongst Calgary, St Louis and Dallas. We have a Michigan K-Wings jersey that was issued to Turek by the now-defunct club in 1997-98, where he appeared in only 2 games. Bauer Pro labeling and a sewn-down size “56G” fly tag sit affixed to the collar, with PHPA (30th anniversary), Bauer and IHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a layered tackle twill K-Wings team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid black V-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with black and green trim, with “Turek” across the nameplate in white heat-pressed vinyl letters. Issued but never game-worn, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition.
