Retiring at just 27 due to an injury, Chris Murray appeared for six different NHL clubs during his short career including in 1994-95 when he made his NHL debut with Montreal. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Port Hardy native in 1996-97. A single size “56” fly tag is affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “22” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Murray” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The jersey exhibits board burns over each sleeve which includes a resulting small hole on the left elbow. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a Classic Auctions LOA will accompany.
