Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

With original mid-1990s use attributed to longtime veteran and 1993 Stanley Cup champion Mathieu Schneider (wore #7 in 1993-94 and 1994-95), this Montreal Canadiens jersey was then recycled for Gilbert Delorme’s use as an old timers jersey (as stated on the accompanying LOA). A Maska Ultrafil label is affixed to the collar along with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem, with the V-neck sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 54. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “27” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Delorme” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Showing great game use, there are a few scuffs over the lower front, with board burns over each sleeve. There is also heavy pilling beneath the fight strap, with team repairs over the front (2), left (6) and right (4) sleeve. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens' letterhead will accompany.
