Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Recycled from the 1998-99 set and possibly first worn by Jocelyn Thibault before his trade to Chicago, this Montreal Canadiens jersey was then donned by goaltending prospect Sean Connors in the early-2000s and worn in the preseason. A Starter label and “58GC” size tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the white V-neck has been accented with tri-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Connors” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. Sporting a number of fabric pulls over the lower front and left sleeve, there are also random marks over the front and sleeves, with faint paint transfer over the right elbow. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle will accompany.
