Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
Sidney Crosby’s Penguins game-used Reebok stick obtained from Sid the Kid saw duty in Pittsburgh’s January 9, 2010 road game in Toronto. Crosby assisted on Pittsburgh’s first goal and scored the 27th goal of his 51-goal 2009-10 season in a 4-1 win against the Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre. “87” is written in black marker on the top of Sid’s white tape job on the knob. Crosby’s tape job on the blade has been partially removed towards the heel and shows nice wear along the remainder of the bottom edge. More game use shows in marks on the shaft and a couple of chips on the top edge around the heel. Comes with a Frameworth COA and a Classic Auctions LOA.
A Frameworth hologram sticker is applied low on the front of the shaft. “1/9/10 @ TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS (4-1) WIN 1 GOAL-1 ASSIST” is printed on a label affixed low on the bottom end of the shaft.
