Babe Ruth, Connie Mack and fellow deceased Baseball HOFer Charlie Gehringer are among the members of the famous 1934 Tour of Japan whose signatures are to be found in this amazing autograph booklet. The Babe has signed, “Sincerely, Babe Ruth” with a big black ink fountain pen autograph on a page with a Ruth family member’s signature below his in pencil. The page is dated, “Oct. 16th 1934, C.P.R. Station North Portal” in handwritten black ink fountain pen in the top right corner. Gehringer and baseball veteran John Quinn have signed in bold blue ink fountain pen on the following page, with a light blot below the last two letters of Gehringer’s first name. Joe Cascarella has signed the next page in pencil, and Mack has signed in black ink fountain pen on the following page.
The booklet measures 6 1/4" x 4 1/2" and there are no autographs on back-to-back pages. The other pages are blank.
