Classic Parkhurst cards from the company's first two issues show handling and wear and are led chronologically by 25 from 1951-52. All but four feature Boston and New York players, with ten cards in the G, G-VG and VG range, with light creases and corner/edge wear. Included are 24-Fisher, 30-Brown, 31-Lund, 45-Hucul, 59-Leswick, 67-Goldham, 95-Ronty, 97-Mickoski, 101-Kullman and 103-Sinclair. There are then 15 lower grade cards with staining/soiling and writing on the backs, (most of them with two or three-digit numbers in blue ink on the reverse), the card numbers being 17, 19-Henry, 22, 23, 25, 26-Quackenbush, 27, 33, 35, 89, 90, 98, 100, 102 and 105-Conacher. Meanwhile, (21) '52-53 Parkies have problem-free backs, with most in the G to VG realm and including #s 2-Reay, 5, 9, 15, 20, 24, 48, 54, 60, 63, 69, 76, 84, 85, 90, 100, 102 and 103. Three cards, (8, 18, 19) are similar but lowered by small areas of paper loss on the fronts. Shoebox-like find will provide some relatively cheap fun.
