At over 120 years old, this 1894 Bank of Montreal Hockey Team Interprovincial Championship tankard is a fascinating early hockey award. This awesome artifact from the outset of the game stands 5 1/4" tall. “Presented by E.S. Clouston to the Bank of Montreal Hockey Team, Winners of Interprovincial Bank Championship, 19th March 1894” is magnificently engraved on the front of the glass-bottomed mug along with crossed hockey sticks and “R.R. Wallace” and “Forward” on either side. “Birks” and “James Dixon & Sons” are stamped along with hallmarks on the bottom.
