The Buffalo Sabres got it right when they made center Pierre Turgeon the first pick in the 1987 NHL Draft. A member of the 500-goal club, Turgeon scored 515 goals and had 812 assists for 1,327 points in 1,294 regular season games with Buffalo, the N.Y. Islanders, Montreal, St. Louis, Dallas and Colorado from 1987-2007. “77 Turgeon” is factory printed on the front of Pierre’s Easton Synergy game-used composite stick which retains his original tape jobs on the blade and knob. Nice game use includes red goalpost paint transfer and marks on the shaft.
