Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2015
It takes a total team effort to win 19 consecutive playoff series and forward Bob Bourne played his part in the New York Islanders dynasty that won the Stanley Cup four times in a row while setting that incredible record. Bourne’s white mesh early-1980s Islanders game-worn white mesh home jersey has the Sandow SK logo heat-screened in white vinyl on the right rear tail. The SK flag tag in the back of the neck is washed out while the laundry instruction flag tag is legible. There is a team repair directly below the gorgeous multi-twill Islanders crest sewn on the front and a stretchy blue fabric fight strap loop inside the back. Solid game wear includes board burns and marks on the tails and both sleeves. There is another team repair on the top edge of the white stripe on the back of the right sleeve.
