Eighteen games with Toronto in 1942-43 earned defenceman Rhys Thompson a spot in both Maple Leaf and Bee Hive history, with his premium picture earning top spot among the most valuable Group 1 Toronto photos. The example here exhibits moderate handling and wear, with a one-inch horizontal crease in the beige backing (top border), continuing down an inch into the photo itself. A couple of light bends in the photo and a few creases in the mat are also to be aware of, but in this case, rarity should outweigh condition, with the latter easily acceptable and collectible.
