Young Charlie Rayner’s 12 games with the New York Americans in 1939-40 and 36 the following year with the Brooklyn Americans resulted in this scarce Bee Hive photo, surely on the wantlists of some. A little blotch and a white “spec” near the middle top of the photo itself are to note, but not very detracting and a dandy image of the Hall of Fame netminder. Minimal corner wear, slight warping and a small light crease near the bottom edge of the beige backing are also to mention.
