Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

This Cooper Graphite 5000 model Eric Lindros game-used stick was used early in Lindros' rookie season. As the story goes, Lindros did not like the orange outline around the logo of the Cooper brand, so either he or the equipment manager took a black sharpie marker to cover the orange print. The markings on the stick make for a perfect photo-match. Lindros did not use these sticks for long, switching to his preferred black Bauer brand hockey sticks shortly after. This right-handed stick features Lindros' signature in black sharpie marker on the blade. There tape on the blade was mostly removed, but the stick shows plenty of war wounds. The shaved grip features orange tape wrap with Lindros' signature #88 written in black marker.
