Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

Hall of Fame goalie Patrick Roy has signed the paddle of his battle-weary Koho stick from the lockout-shortened 1994-95 NHL season. Dried-out white tape remains on the blade of his battered white Koho Revolution goalie stick and "P. Roy" is stamped on the shaft below Patrick's wide white tape knob with blue gauze wrapping. Great game wear with dozens of stick and puck marks but no cracking or damage at the blade or paddle makes this one of the nicest examples we have seen! Although earlier years saw his Kohos often having factory date stamping, this is not the case for sticks from 1994-95. And you would expect to see a single wrap of white tape crossing the lower paddle... this one no longer has that one piece of tape but you can see the residue where it once was. Patrick Roy was a monster of a goaltender and currently holds the number two position for all time wins with 551, just behind Martin Brodeur. Roy does hold the records for all time playoff games played and playoff wins!
