Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
An original member of the Quebec Nordiques, Michel Parizeau was selected to play in the first ever WHA All-Star Game which was played at the Colisée in Quebec City on January 6, 1973. Parizeau wore this white mesh jersey and was on the winning side as the East beat the West 6-2. A Gerry Cosby tag, a washing instructions tag and a size 48 fly tag are all in the neck. Number "15"s on the back and sleeves are in blue tackle twill and sewn-on while "Parizeau" in red tackle twill is sewn directly onto the back (no nameplate). The three stars above the screened-on WHA logo are sewn-on while the others and the striping are screened. Evidence of roughing it up along the boards is in the blue board paint on both sleeves. Historic shirt remains though in outstanding condition. Comes with a LOA from Classic Auctions.
