Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/25/2015
Pried from baseball’s Cathedral in the Bronx, Yankee Stadium, after the nearly 57,000 seat stadium closed its doors forever in 2008, is this pair of baby blue stadium seats numbered 25 and 26 on upright backs. The 2 joined seats feature spring-loaded fold-up hard plastic seats and backs with steel frames and stand, and measure 38” wide across both, and 33” high. As solid as can be, made for passionate and exuberant fans as Reggie Jackson, Thurman Munson, Bucky Dent, Don Mattingly, Derek Jeter and the rest of the Yanks and their opponents made their magic in the historic building which was originally opened in 1923 but renovated with these type of seats in the mid-1970s. Comes with an LOA signed by a representative of Yankees-Steiner. Please note, due to the size and weight, special shipping arrangements will be needed.
