Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2015

Some of the greatest leaders in Maple Leafs history have signed HOFer George Armstrong’s team-signed 1954-55 Maple Leafs game-used stick. Armstrong and Deceased HOFers Ted Kennedy, Tim Horton, Harry Watson and Harry Lumley are among the 18 black ink autographs on one side of the shaft of Armstrong’s CCM Professional gamer. This solid and crack-free beauty has Chief’s original tape job on the knob and most of his tape job on the blade, with only a few strands missing toward the heel. The faded remnants of a handwritten black “10” remain on the front of the shaft. Game use shows in marks on the blade and wear to the bottom edge of the heel. Comes with a COA for the autographs.
“Love & Bennett” stamp just above the heel on both sides of the stick. The “Brown’s Sports” stamp is higher up on both sides below Armstrong’s black tape knob. Others who have signed the stick include Smith, Nesterenko, Sloan, Migay, Bolton, Stewart, Morrison, Klukay, Thomson, MacDonald, Cahan, Marshall and Hannigan. KSA sticker is applied low on the signed side of the shaft below the remnants of the three blue stripes.
